Pforzheim \u2013 November 05, 2024 \u2013 Where innovation is embraced: PROVERTHA develops the first angled M12 SMT ruggedized connectors series on the market for PCB assembly using SMT (Surface Mounting Technology) connection technology.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0The 90\u00b0 ruggedized versions score points with their compact design, robust SMT connections and minimal installation depth, which saves valuable space on the PCB.<\/span><\/p>\n

PROVERTHA leaves nothing to be desired: In the new design of the Ruggedized series, compactness for miniaturization meets high functional reliability thanks to a special contact geometry. With an installation area of just 15.5 mm x 5.5 mm on the PCB, the angled M12 SMT ruggedized connectors<\/span> set new standards. The new, tamper-proof M12 installation housing supports both push-pull and screw locking and enables a tight arrangement of the interfaces with minimal spacing \u2013 perfect for miniaturization.<\/span><\/p>\n

Groundbreaking innovation: First angled M12 connector for SMT on the market<\/b><\/p>\n

Until now, there were no angled M12 SMT connectors on the market.<\/span><\/span> One step ahead, PROVERTHA has developed 90\u00b0 angled M12 connectors that can be processed automatically in the SMT process. A high-temperature-resistant suction cap ensures precise, horizontal and right-angled fixing of the ruggedized connector and thus guarantees optimum positioning for a seamless SMT soldering process. The angled connectors from PROVERTHA are pre-assembled, compact and, with their low height of 14 mm, perfectly suited for Ethernet switches with front-side interfaces<\/span><\/p>\n
