Pforzheim \u2013 2 August 2022 \u2013 Provertha is expanding its modular system in full-metal design for sophisticated distribution solutions with a new adapter. The recently patented adapter realises the gap-free, form-fit connection and linking of modular T-\/Y-distributors and distribution boxes as well as D-Sub distribution boxes in 9-pin or 15-pin design. It is designed in such a way that stranded wires or cables can be looped through to the next box without any problems.<\/p>\n

By interlinking the compact M12 T-\/Y-distributors or multiple distribution boxes with the new adapter, high-quality fully shielded distribution solutions for harsh applications with any number of inputs and outputs are now possible. The design of the adapter ensures that the 360\u00b0 shielding is maintained for the complete distribution solution.<\/p>\n

Provertha’s modular system enables customised distribution solutions for customers’ applications. Thanks to the expansion options and interlinking of the various distribution boxes using the new patented adapter, as well as the flexibility thanks to various connection options, it is possible to realise distribution systems that are individually tailored to specific requirements. With pluggable M12 adapters in male and female versions for the codings A, B, D and A-8, M8 adapters in male and female versions for the codings A-3, A-4 and D as well as 9- and 15-pin D-Sub male and female versions with various locking options such as the D-Sub push-pull quick-locking system Quick Lock, a wide variety of applications can be implemented simply, quickly and safely via plug-and-play.<\/p>\n

Complete solutions in IP 67 for railway technology and factory automation with increased requirements on functional reliability and shielding <\/strong><\/p>\n

The special shielding design with overlapping contours between the enclosure and the cover on all distribution boxes, as well as the respective all-metal enclosure in zinc die-cast, ensure protection against damage. For the fire protection requirements of railway technology and factory automation, the plastic components and the potting compound are designed in both EN 45545 and UL 94-V0.<\/p>\n

The crimp flange\/crimp sleeve system is the right choice for the complete 360\u00b0 shielding as well as the torsion- and vibration-proof design of the cable strain relief and cable shield connection. Special cables with an outer diameter of up to 14 mm can be easily connected with safe shielding transmission and strain relief using the solid external cable clamp. Anti-kink sleeves are available for low-cost cable connection without shielding requirements. Unused inlets and outlets can be reliably sealed with blanking plugs. The distribution boxes can be securely fastened to the wall with two integrated brackets.<\/p>\n

The distribution solutions are assembled according to the customer’s specification and delivered as a 100% tested complete solution. Thanks to the pluggable connections directly at the distribution box or at the end of the cable, assembly errors are eliminated and, in combination with the special technical features, functionally reliable plug-and-play distribution solutions are guaranteed.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n
