Pforzheim (Germany) \u2013 28 June 2022 \u2013 Provertha achieves significant success with its comprehensive D-Sub connector range by offering customised products and special solutions for customers, who increasingly request adapted solutions for their projects. Provertha has been manufacturing D-Sub connectors for over 25 years, consistently developing and expanding the portfolio offered over the years, including the acquisition of the TMC D-Sub product family from ERNI, a provider of high-performance solutions on the cable side and PCB side.<\/p>\n

Special versions with solder pin and hand soldering connections for increased voltage requirements <\/strong><\/p>\n

For a well-known manufacturer of high-precision handling systems, the appropriate contacts were selected from the modular system of the Provertha D-Sub range with various stamping and injection moulding tools for different connection types, and modifications to insulators with an increase in air gaps and creepage distances were implemented, which now provide the customer with a solution that meets their demanding requirements.<\/p>\n

Special D-Sub with straight press-fit connection for space-saving installation height in special colour<\/strong><\/p>\n

For a leading manufacturer of high-quality hospital communication products, Provertha was able to realise a customised press-fit D-sub with the special installation height of 5.7 mm and a special colour. The customer received a customised solution by modifying an insulator to the lower installation height requested by the customer in combination with the special housing colour for their application and the selection of the matching press-fit contact.<\/p>\n

Application-specific housing modification for Quick Lock D-Sub hoods <\/strong><\/p>\n

For an innovative manufacturer of energy storage systems, a secure self-locking cable-cable connection that can be repeatedly locked and unlocked in seconds was realised for the interlinking of energy storage racks in a rack system using Provertha’s innovative Quick Lock push-pull quick-locking system. In addition, a modification to the housing enables simple, quick wall mounting. Thanks to its UL-certified cable assembly with pre-assembled cables for direct installation in the rack system, Provertha was able to implement a cost-efficient complete solution for the customer.<\/p>\n

Provertha will continue to offer application-specific D-Sub solutions for customers and, in contrast to other market participants, will specifically tailor the best D-Sub products to the customer’s applications.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n
