Pforzheim, November 26, 2013 \u2013 PROVERTHA, specializing in reliable high-quality interface solutions for industrial automation, now also offers a customized compact M12 bus connector for Siemens\u2019s new control system Sinumerik NCU 7×0.3. The new Profibus Compact 2 M12 bus connector meets the control system\u2019s particular form factor requirements. It joins the M12 Profibus lines with the NCU control unit\u2019s D-Sub, X126 and X136 Profibus DB interfaces to connect other bus devices. Due to the compact and optimized form factor, the new Profibus Compact 2 M12 bus connector provides major cabling clearance and unobstructed access to the NCU\u2019s Profibus and Profinet interfaces. It also avoids collisions with the Ethernet port, implemented as RJ45 connector to the X120 interface.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Essential functional characteristics of the Profibus Compact 2 M12 bus connectors are completely shielded zinc die-cast housings for high EMI\/RFI security, cable outlets 90\u00b0 to the D-Sub connecting direction with the Compact models, massive, externally operable switch levers to activate bus termination, programming and diagnosis options provided by a second D-Sub port, UNC 4-40 knurled locking screws, 100% tested bus connectors resulting in high functional safety, and the fast M12 Plug&Play connection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
