Pforzheim and Hannover<\/span><\/i>\u00a0\u2013 March 31, 2014 – At Hanover Fair 2014 (Hall 11, Booth E26) PROVERTHA presents a new D-Sub connector series with quality grade G2, expanding its comprehensive portfolio of connector products and solutions to enable robust data networks in industry and automotive applications. With the new series the contact coating was optimized in such way, that the manufacturing costs are significantly reduced, while the quality grade G2 (200 mating cycles) is obtained. PROVERTHA will hand down this cost advantage to its clients. In the medium-term all D-Sub series will be manufactured with the new G2 contacts. PROVERTHA offers D-Sub connectors with quality grade G1 (500 mating cycles), G2 (200 cycles) and G3 (50 cycles).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

PROVERTHA manufactures D-Sub connectors since more than 25 years. These connectors were the first products developed and manufactured in-house by PROVERTHA. The portfolio was consequently expanded over the last years. Meanwhile the company offers D-Sub connectors for PCB assembly with different termination variants: 90\u00b0 and 180\u00b0 soldering, pressfit and SMT. In addition variants for cable assembly with IDC, crimp and manual soldering termination are also part of the product portfolio. Furthermore PROVERTHA offers D-Sub connectors with mixed pins (signal and power), high-density, Dual-Port and filtered D-Subs. The product portfolio is rounded with D-Sub plastic hoods,\u00a0<\/span>360\u00b0 EMI\/RFI D-Sub full metal hoods for railway and machinery applications demanding high EMC and the Push-Pull D-Sub locking system Quick Lock.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>
