Pforzheim ,September 08, 2014 \u2013 PROVERTHA\u2019s product portfolio for the railway and transportation industries comprises, among others, connection solutions with D-Sub connectors and full-metal hoods, and field-mountable M12 Ethernet connectors and connection cables. Main criteria are function-safe data transmissions realized by a very reliable vibration resistant signal and shielding attachment and a cable strain relief vibration-resistant as well. The comprehensive product spectrum is showcased at the PROVERTHA booth in hall 18, stand 310, of the InnoTrans 2014 trade fair, Berlin, September 23 \u2013 26.<\/p>\n

An InnoTrans 2014 highlight are new M12 crimp cable connectors with 8 and 5 poles A coded and 4 poles D coded, environmental protection class IP67, for fast and reliable Industrial Ethernet systems. The new 360\u00b0 EMI\/RFI M12 crimp connectors are ideally suited for railway applications. IP67 crimp cable connectors fulfill all requirements for a function-safe Ethernet connection and an interference-free data transmission. Massive turned crimp contacts guarantee a safe signal connection, while the very compact full-metal housing provides a secure shielding connection. The 360\u00b0 EMI\/RFI crimp flange system also offers a vibration and torsion free cable strain relief. Additionally, the robust full-metal housing prevents from damages under harsh environmental conditions.<\/p>\n

New at InnoTrans as well is a coded hermaphroditic blade with contact connections for printed circuit board or cable. The hermaphroditic blade 2W2 is available in various versions with different contact configurations such as pure high-current crimp contacts and soldering connections. The excellent quality of the component parts ensures a practical and safe connection even for high-current contacts. The blade also fulfills the particularly high requirements of railway operators.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/div>
