Pforzheim \u2013 April 10, 2015 \u2013 PROVERTHA received UL approval for its state-of-the-art production facilities for cable assemblies, an essential prerequisite for global marketing and sales, especially in the US and Canada. Only products tested by the Underwriters Laboratories (UL) according to current US product safety requirements are allowed to show the UL sign. UL certified products enjoy good reputation by end users and authorities as well as insurance companies.<\/p>\n

\u201eUL certification for our cable assembly underlines again the high quality of our products\u201c, says Marco Staib, Product Manager at PROVERTHA. \u201eThe UL label expands the application and marketing possibilities of our high quality and reliability cable product offering throughout the world.\u201d<\/p>\n

At PROVERTHA cable assembly for small and large series is based on highest quality standards according to TS 16949 and DIN ISO 9001 in facilities in Germany and Hungary. Now the related production lines for the cable assembly with single wires and wire harness received UL approval. The modern facilities are equipped with full automated assembly machines with crimp force monitoring, crosscut machines for non-mettalic sheathed and coax cable, crimp machines with crimp force monitoring, microsection labority, electronic cable testing (high voltage test up to 1.5 kV) and high quality overmolding of cables and connectors with ABS and thermal technology<\/p>\n

Customer benefit from the high performance manufacturing in Hungary combined with inventory and logistics in Germany. The comprehensive offering of cable assemblies from PROVERTHA include cables for the communication technology, headphone cables, cables for automation applications in rugged environments, D-Sub cables for industry communication, M12 cordsets, audio cables, automotive cables, shielded measurement cables and customer specific solutions.<\/p>\n
